Enum DebugDrawSpace
Specifies the coordinate space in which a debug draw command is interpreted and rendered.
Namespace: Scylla.Core.Util.DebugDraw
Assembly: ScyllaCore.dll
Syntax
public enum DebugDrawSpace
Remarks
The two spaces correspond to the two separate materials and rendering paths
managed by DebugDrawManager:
-
World: The world material sets
ZTest LEqualso that debug shapes are occluded by scene geometry closer to the camera. A single world-space mesh is built from all world commands and submitted viaGraphics.DrawMeshfor all active Game cameras simultaneously. -
Screen: The screen material sets
ZTest Alwaysso that debug shapes are drawn unconditionally on top of all scene geometry. A separate screen-space mesh is built and submitted per camera because the pixel-to-world coordinate transformation differs per camera.
Scene View cameras are excluded from screen-space rendering because pixel coordinates are only meaningful in the Game View. Screen-space shapes will not appear in the Scene View panel even during Play mode.
Fields
| Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Screen | Screen-space pixel coordinates with no depth testing (
The coordinate origin Scene View cameras are not included. Screen-space shapes will not appear in the Scene View panel because pixel coordinates have no stable mapping to the Scene View's continuously changing viewport. |
| World | World-space 3D coordinates with standard depth testing (
Coordinates are interpreted as standard Unity world-space positions.
A single mesh is built from all world-space commands and rendered for
