Enum ValidationSeverity

Represents the severity level of a ConfigurationValidationResult. Severity determines how the framework and Inspector treat a validation message: informational results are displayed for awareness, warnings flag potential problems, and errors block the configuration from being considered valid by IsValid().

Fields

Name	Description
Error	A definitive error that must be corrected before the configuration can be safely used. Any result with this severity causes IsValid() to return false. Use this severity when a value is out of an allowed range, when a required dependency is missing, or when the configuration state would lead to runtime failures.
Info	An informational diagnostic that does not indicate a problem. Use this severity to surface useful context about the current configuration state - for example, displaying computed derived values or confirming that an optional feature is enabled. IsValid() is not affected by Info results.
Warning	A potential problem that should be reviewed but does not prevent the configuration from being used. Warnings are appropriate when a value is technically valid but may produce undesired behaviour - for example, an initialization delay so short that modules may not have time to register, or a setting that degrades performance. IsValid() is not affected by Warning results; the configuration is still considered valid.
