Class InputOrphanRecord
A metadata record whose element could not be found in the action asset, held aside rather than deleted.
Inherited Members
Namespace: Scylla.Input
Assembly: ScyllaInput.dll
Syntax
[Serializable]
public class InputOrphanRecord
Remarks
Quarantine rather than deletion, because the usual reason an element vanishes is a branch switch or a partially applied merge, not an intentional removal. Discarding a designer's notes on that basis is not recoverable, so records wait here and are restored automatically if their element reappears.
Exactly one of the four payload fields is populated, selected by Kind.
Unity cannot serialize a polymorphic field without SerializeReference, and
that renders the YAML unreadable, which would defeat the point of this asset being
diffable.
