Enum InputConflictReason
Why a pair of bindings was, or was not, reported as a conflict.
Namespace: Scylla.Input
Assembly: ScyllaInput.dll
Syntax
public enum InputConflictReason
Remarks
Both outcomes are named, not just the positive one. An editor showing a conflict
needs to say why it fired, but the question a designer actually asks is the opposite:
two rows both show Space and nothing is flagged, so what suppressed it. The
Skipped values answer that.
Fields
| Name | Description |
|---|---|
| None | No verdict reached. |
| SharedControlPath | Two different actions can be driven by the same control at the same time. |
| SharedControlPathSameAction | Two rows of one action share a control, which is a genuine collision. |
| SkippedComposite | The candidate is a composite container, which holds no control of its own. |
| SkippedDifferentDeviceClass | The two controls belong to different device classes, so they are not one physical input. |
| SkippedDifferentModifierDepth | The two actions sit at different modifier depths and are already disambiguated. |
| SkippedDifferentModifiers | Both are modifier composite parts but under different modifier keys. |
| SkippedDifferentPath | The two bindings are on different controls. |
| SkippedDisjointInteractions | The two bindings carry interactions whose state machines cannot both perform from one press and release, so the control drives them at different moments. |
| SkippedExclusiveSchemes | The two bindings name no control scheme in common, and the asset states that its schemes are applied as a binding mask, so only one of them is ever live. |
| SkippedExclusiveScopes | The two bindings belong to scopes the game declared can never be live together. |
| SkippedModifierPartMismatch | One binding is part of a modifier composite and the other is not. |
| SkippedSameBinding | The candidate is the very binding being asked about. |
| SkippedSameRow | The candidate is the same action's binding in the same semantic slot, which is an alternative route to one input rather than a rival. |
| SkippedUnregisteredScheme | The candidate belongs to a control scheme the caller did not declare. |
